Charging Books to Financial Aid

A student can use their excess financial aid to charge books at the University Bookstore up to $600, provided that all financial aid required documentation and processes have been completed, and the student is enrolled.  Excess financial aid is any aid (excluding B-on-Time, CAL and ALT loans) remaining after tuition and fees and any required meal plan (students residing in on-campus housing) have been paid.  If the student has also requested that their excess financial aid to be applied toward their campus housing, aid will be applied to charges that hit their student account first.  If you have any questions please contact the Business Office at (361) 825-2600 opt # 5 or email us at business.office@tamucc.edu.
